I've enjoyed reading through the blogs this morning. I love hearing what the kids have to say about technology. I've done this assignment in my social studies class. But, this is the first time I've done it in my technology course.
The themes that seem to be emerging are: issues of digital equity, lack of technology application in the classroom, and student interest in using technology. Gang, it sounds like we have our work cut out for us!

I thought the video was powerful and so pertinent to our class! I found it by searching "technology in education". The title of the clip is "Pay Attention" so if you search by using that title, it will also come up.
It's amazing what you can discover by venturing out into unknown planes. This assignment challenges you to leave your virtual "box" and explore beyond traditional borders. However, I am still having a difficult time finding out how to add links of other class members to my blog.
My confidence is rising. I am learning to use our technology, therefore I will better serve my students technology needs.
Working with five year-olds, does not change the importance of technology usage if anything it gives me the opportunity to plant an early seed in their growth and development.
